In 2015, my husband and I moved to Ocean Shores after he retired from a long career with the City of Everett. As a mom, grandma, and dog mom, I’ve always had a full life, but that move gave me the opportunity to pursue something I’d wanted to do for years: help people buy and sell real estate.

I have been fortunate in my career to work with some amazing mentors. They helped me build a strong foundation and taught me something that still guides me today: this industry is always evolving, and you never stop learning. I also discovered how naturally real estate brought together two of my passions, collaboration and marketing.

When I was approached about becoming the lead broker at Oyhut Bay Realty, I jumped at the opportunity. I was excited to learn about new construction, development properties, and everything that goes into building a resort community. It has been a whirlwind of education and opportunity, and helping people realize their dream of owning a second home has become one of my favorite parts of the work.

When our Designated Broker was ready to step down, I was honored to have earned the invitation to take on that role. I took the responsibility seriously. I wanted to help build a brokerage where sharing ideas, continuing our education, and finding thoughtful ways to market properties were part of our everyday work.

Along the way, I met other brokers who shared that vision, and our brokerage began to grow. I believe the real estate community can, and should, work together to better serve buyers and sellers. There is so much we can learn from one another, and our clients benefit when we do.

Buying or selling a home is exciting, but it can also feel daunting. My goal is to build the trust that allows my clients to enjoy the experience and focus on the chapter ahead, knowing we’re handling the details and helping them work through the decisions.

I love what I do, and the connections I’ve made mean the world to me. Many clients have become friends, and the relationships I’ve built with fellow brokers and industry colleagues have made this career more rewarding than I could have imagined when we first moved here.
